Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of rockservice.pro (the "Site"), operated by RockService LLC ("RockService", "we", "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
About RockService
RockService LLC is an automotive repair dealer registered with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair, registration ARD 314166, located at 521 Charcot Ave, Ste 253, San Jose, CA 95131. We carry general liability and garagekeepers insurance. Like all insurance, our coverage has limits, and the terms of any repair are set out in your written estimate and invoice.
Information on the Site
The Site describes our shop and the kinds of work we do. Descriptions of services, vehicles and platforms are general information, not an offer to perform any specific job or a quote. Listing a make or model does not mean we can take on every vehicle or every request.
Project requests
Sending a request through the Site does not create an agreement or reserve shop time. We review each request and reply to the ones we can help with. We may decline any request at our discretion.
Estimates and authorization
As required by California law, we provide a written estimate before starting work and do not perform work or charge more than the estimated amount without your authorization. The terms of any repair, including price, parts, warranty and payment, are set out in your written estimate, work order and invoice. Those documents control over anything on the Site.
Acceptable use
Please do not use the Site or its forms to send spam, sales or marketing solicitations, unlawful content, or false information, and do not try to interfere with the Site's operation or security.
Intellectual property
The RockService name, logo, text, photos and design of the Site belong to RockService or are used with permission. You may not copy or reuse them without our written consent. Vehicle makes and model names mentioned on the Site are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the vehicles we work on. RockService is an independent shop and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any vehicle manufacturer.
Third-party links
The Site links to services such as Google Maps, Instagram and WhatsApp. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
Disclaimer
The Site is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and available but do not guarantee that it is error-free or uninterrupted. Nothing in these terms limits any warranty or right you have under California law for repair work we perform.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, RockService is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. This section applies to the Site only and does not limit our responsibilities for repair work, which are governed by your estimate, invoice and applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute relating to the Site will be heard in the courts of Santa Clara County, California.
Consumer information
Automotive repair dealers in California are registered with the Bureau of Automotive Repair. If you have a concern about a repair, please talk to us first. You may also contact the Bureau at bar.ca.gov.
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use the Site, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation or other assistive technology. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. If any part of the Site is hard to use, or you need information in another format, text us at (408) 483-8877 and we will help and work to fix the problem.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
